Faerie Kid goats' milk soaps are a range of artisan soaps hand made by Peter and Carol Searle at our home in Somerset.The soaps are made using the "cold pour" method using quality ingredients including full cream, pasteurised milk from our own rare breed Golden Guernsey goats.
We are committed to producing safe, high quality products for our customers to enjoy and we take very seriously our responsibilities to comply with relevant legislation and to monitor and ensure consistent quality.
The ingredients
The common ingredients of all our soaps are Vegetable Oil, Palm Oil, Coconut Oil, Lye, Water and, of course, Goats' Milk. Together these make our original "Unscented" bars.In response to customer demand we now also supply soaps enhanced with a variety of essential oils including Lavender, Tea Tree, Sweet Orange, Lime and Lemon.
Quality and Safety
The EU Cosmetic afety Directive 76/768/EEC requires that all cosmetic products be assessed for safety by a suitably qualified and competent authority.Our soaps have each successfully passed such a safety assessment performed by Cosmetic Safety Consultants Ltd and a copy of their assessment can be viewed on request.
